I have always wondered, why is it people always remembers the blunders that we make rather than the success stories of a person ? Take... Bill Gates for example, he's one of the richest person on Earth, but to most pc savvy humans, we know him as the person who unleashed the "blue screen of death".
Another example... take... okay... can't really think of a good one... Britney Spears. Now, the mention of her name, more often you'll be hearing "Okay, who did she divorced/married this time?" or "Another child ???". But she was one of the first few teen singers to ever become an international singer.. !
The point I'm trying to state is that, somehow our mistakes will always cover up the great things or successes we accomplish... why ?? No matter how impossibly good you become, one little mistake, and you'll be known for that mistake for a very long time. In fact, I think there's a relation between how bad the mistake is with how great a person's success story is....
I sometimes feel it's just not fair to those who try so hard only to be labelled for the accident he/ she commited. It's not like they did it on purpose ! Then again... I'm reminded by a phrase I once read stating that a person becomes successful when he /she knows how to turn a mistake into something positive, like motiviation, to try even harder.
I guess that's how Bill Gates became one of the richest despite being dumped from Harvard, or why Britney Spears is still trying to be one of the worst dressed celebrities on the face of this planet....
